This week, I'm reviewing a recent show from punk rock trio, Cloud Nothings. The Cleveland band hit Reverb Lounge in Omaha as part of its Final Summer Tour.
I missed the first band, Tender Grease, but arrived just in time for the second, Idle Ray. This Michigan four piece indie band was good, despite the goofy eye make-up. I liked them so much I wanted to buy their record. But after hitting the vacant merch table three times, I had to bail. Maybe next time.
Cloud Nothings were exactly what you'd want from a punk band. The songs were loud, fast, and catchy.
