The band Bella Lea has officially changed its name to Ambulette. Apparently, there was another band with a similar name that forced the change, and held up the release of the band's debut CD. So, armed with a new name, the band promises that 2006 will see the release of their CD and non-stop touring.In 2005, I saw the band three times in Omaha. They are a fantastic live band, but I think the reason I keep going is singer/guitarist Maura Davis. She's as talented as she is beautiful. She promised I could interview her for my show the next time the band comes through town. I intended on making her live up to that.
