Julian Casablancas TONIGHT at Waiting Room

Truth be told, there are two decent shows going on in Omaha tonight. Minus the Bear is playing at Slowdown, but more importantly to me, Julian Casablancas is at The Waiting Room. This is the first ever solo tour from the lead singer of The Strokes.

As I'm writing this, my intention is to hit Waiting Room. Still, Thursday is a pretty big TV night for me with two new 30 Rocks, plus Flash Forward and Fringe. Hate to stay in because of television, but it may happen. Don't let that stop you from going...

  1. I'm looking forward to Minus the Bear at Sasquatch in May! Should be good. I liked them there a few years ago. I haven't heard Casablanca's solo material, will have to check it out!

  2. Minus the Bear is a decent band, but I'm not digging the new album. It's too poppy and less interesting musically.
