Former Guns 'N Roses and current Velvet Revolver bassist Duff McKagan is rumored to be the new bass player in Jane's Addiction. Last week on Perry Farrell's twitter, the Jane's singer wrote about writing new material with the band, and how great it was. However, original bassist Eric Avery (who re-joined in 2009 for a tour) said on his twitter, "fyi, to answer the question directly, i am not writing with janes addiction." This led to speculation that he had, once again, left the band.No one has officially commented on this Duff in Jane's Addiction thing.
