Interesting Replacements News

I IM'd one of my friends to chat about the most recent batch of Replacements re-issue CDs that were just released (Tim, Pleased to Meet Me, Don't Tell a Soul, and All Shook Down), and he tipped me off to this article showing that Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson are working together again. When asked if the two had been in the studio together, Tommy quipped: “Nah, that’s getting to first base. We’re sort of still in the dugout chewing gum...We’re good friends, and I’m sure we’re going to work together again.”

It should be noted that the new Guns N Roses (Stinson is the GNR bassist now) album, Chinese Democracy, is supposedly coming out in November and it will be followed by a world tour. Not sure when Tommy would find the time for sessions with Westerberg, but one can keep hoping.
