Just read at Pitchforkmedia that Arizona rockers Meat Puppets are reuniting to make their first new album together since 1995. Brothers Curt and Cris Kirkwood, along with drummer Derrick Bostrom, made music together for the legendary SST (Black Flag, Husker Du) label in the 80s before signing to a major label and having a few hits in the 90s. Cris became a heroin addict and was fired from the band. Meat Puppets made one album without him. For the reunion, Bostrom will not participate. Instead, former Primus drummer Tim Alexander will join the band.Tag: Meat Puppets
